Intro

The story

In 2002, Einar Ólafsson began the journey that would lead to the founding of Sólar, driven by his passion for improving the lives of workers in undervalued jobs. With an MBA focused on human resources, he believed that job satisfaction—built through respect, good conditions, positive culture, and feedback—was key to the company’s success.For its whole lifespan Sólar has been built on the values that Einar Ólafsson established. Sólar has never just been about business—it’s a community that stands together through challenges, hardships, and victories. To this day, the company is still run by the same family and based on the same core values: respect, positivity, and professionalism.
